Pre-Lease Conditions

2. Credit & Rental History Check: A credit report from Equifax will be requested from the tenant, followed by a background check and a credit report verification at the expense of the listing broker.
3. Reference Check: Clause 9.2 of this Promise to Lease applies (tenant consents to verifying payment history and provides references from previous landlords).
Upon Offer Acceptance (Next Steps):
4. Deposit: Tenant agrees to provide a deposit via e-transfer to REMAX PLATINE within 48 hours.
5. Insurance: Proof of civil liability insurance ($1M coverage) for the entire lease term.
6. Utility Transfer: Confirmation letter from Hydro-Québec confirming account transfer.
